I have been in San Antonio for few years, got married and it was time to settle down, so my wife and I started looking for our first time house. Melissa basically became our realtor by chance, via a reply to one of our emails to their office. We didn’t know her before so we said we’re going to try, if we are unpleased, we will look for a different realtor. She was beyond expectations from the first meeting, and I don’t mean the sweet friendly talk that business people show in this case, but from the professional perspective. We had very little information about the process, Melissa filled us up with the basics and we took couple of days to understand the process more and followed by many more questions. She showed us many (many!) houses before we narrowed our selections down, answering every single question. We finally narrowed what we are looking for down, and in couple of weeks, we found what the house we liked. Melissa helped through the whole paperwork process explaining it all to us (and advising whenever needed). We asked for several showings of the house and she was always available. At the final stage, she drove few hours to pick up the keys from the seller so we do not wait for the keys as we had to close early since we were moving out from the apartment. That was a big favor. On top of it all, she sent a plumber to help us out in few tiny fixes around the house that I wanted to do, and that was a gift for us.

Basically, what you wish for when they advise you to hire an “experienced honest realtor”: Professionalism, honesty, experience, knowledge, fast response, and accurate time management. We will definitely refer her, actually, I did that already. Melissa, thank you!
