Bill recently retired as Senior Vice President, Information Systems with a local life insurance company. He grew up in Garland, Texas, and then graduated from Texas A&M with a BA in mathematics. He settled with his family in San Antonio after completion of obligated service with the U. S. Army. He served on active duty as an Army Aviator with assignments at Ft. Sill, Ft. Rucker, West Germany, and South Vietnam. Bill retired as a Colonel in 1993 after serving in the Texas Army National Guard and U. S. Army Reserve. His civilian career began as a computer programmer in 1968 and ended with retirement in 2012. He earned an MS in Engineering Administration from St. Mary’s University in 1974, and designations as Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1990, and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) in 1992. Bill and his family are parishioners at St. David’s Episcopal Church. He is a Lay Reader, a member of the choir, and serves on the School Board. As a Child Advocate San Antonio (CASA), Bill worked as a court appointed advocate for abused and neglected children. Working as a licensed real estate professional, Bill is dedicated to helping clients achieve their objectives of home ownership.
