Broker, OwnerMelissa Muse Wiggans started her real estate career in a less conventional way and became involved as an active owner of multiple residential rental properties in the heart of San Antonio, making her first mark on the Texas market in 2001. Upon receiving her realtor license in 2006, she quickly established herself as a leader, adding team members and opening her brokerage – the Real Estate Muses.
Melissa grew up in San Antonio and has a great love for the city and all it has to offer. She graduated from Saint Mary’s Hall Preparatory School before continuing on to Hollins University in Virginia, and later returning to San Antonio to attend St. Mary’s University, where she earned her master’s degree. Melissa holds a B.A. degree in Spanish, Political Science/Economics Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Business Administration. Always looking to continue her professional development and aiming be a strong resource for both her clients and agents, Melissa has obtained many valuable industry designations. She is also known for hosting a variety of client and community events throughout the year that benefit important issues facing the city of San Antonio and the surrounding areas. Still, with her many accolades and achievements, Melissa counts her family as her greatest accomplishment. She and her husband are joyfully raising two daughters and two standard poodles, enjoying family vacations to the North Carolina mountains whenever possible, and venturing to all parts are the world, continuing their lifelong love of travel.
